Slope Analysis
LDC maintains the most current and accurate topographic information for all jurisdictions in the Puget Sound Region. Typically this information takes the form of LiDAR data. This information is utilized to conduct slope analysis and to identify areas which will be considered landslide hazard areas. This information is then utilized to develop buffer and setback areas and eventually to determine usable area. LDC has also developed a streamlined process, whereby survey topography can be imported into GIS and utilized to conduct slope analysis.
